The 3rd annual Freedom Fest at the Lake is a celebration of food, fun and music on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. This event is the City of Kenner’s thank you to the men and women who make our city and parish strong and keep America thriving and free. In our tech-driven world, today’s worker is on the job more often, logging in more hours. We have created this special day of revelry for you to relax and enjoy the fruits of labor. Join us for Freedom Fest at the Lake!

WHERE AND WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?
Laketown at the foot of Williams Boulevard in Kenner on Sunday, September 1, 2019
WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT START?
The doors open at 3:30 pm. The first act will begin at 4:30pm.
CAN I ENTER AT ANY TIME?
Yes, you can enter at any time after the doors have opened at 3:30 pm.
HOW MUCH IS ADMISSION?
Admission to Freedom Fest is free!
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
There is limited parking available at the Pontchartrain Center at a rate of $5.00.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL?
Most items are permitted into the festival with the exception of the following:

No ice chests or coolers of any size

Personal transport devices (e.g. skateboards, Segways, hoverboards, go-peds, etc.)

Bicycles
-
Inserting stakes, poles, or any other objects into the ground, or use of ropes, cords, tape, etc. to reserve space

Video and audio recording equipment
-
Unauthorized vending or solicitation
-
Weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband
-
No outside food or drink allowed

Reserving tarp space larger than 6’ x 8’ is strictly prohibited

Personal tents, shade canopies or other shelters/shacks, sport-brellas, etc.

Beach or pole-style umbrellas (over 63”)

Promotional items

Drones (Due to FAA Regulations)
